    PEMANFAATAN ARANG AKTIF AMPAS TEBU SEBAGAI ADSORBEN COD PADA LIMBAH CAIR SASIRANGAN

    Limbah cair sasirangan yang berada pada salah satu home industry sasirangan di Kota Banjarmasin mengandung COD sebesar 730 mg/L, nilai tersebut melebihi baku mutu yang ditetapkan yaitu 150 mg/L. Limbah ampas tebu dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menurunkan COD melalui adsorpsi arang aktif dengan tahapan karbonisasi dan aktivasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas arang aktif ampas tebu terhadap penurunan kandungan COD pada limbah cair sasirangan. Penelitian ini terbagi menjadi lima kelompok, yaitu satu kelompok kontrol dan empat kelompok perlakuan. Kelompok Kontrol (K) adalah kelompok tanpa pemberian dosis arang aktif ampas tebu dengan pH dan waktu kontak optimum. Kelompok Perlakuan (P) adalah kelompok dengan pemberian dosis arang aktif ampas tebu (P;1,5gr/L, P2;3gr/L, P3;4gr/L, P4;5gr/L) dengan pH dan waktu kontak optimum. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa arang aktif ampas tebu dengan pH 5 dan waktu kontak 90 menit mampu menurunkan kandungan COD hingga 95,37%, serta terdapat perbedaan tingkat efektivitas dosis arang aktif ampas tebu sebagai adsorben terhadap kandungan COD pada limbah cair sasirangan. Dosis 5 gr/L merupakan dosis yang mampu menyerap COD paling besar

    LAYANAN KONSELING KELOMPOK DALAM MENINGKATKAN PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING REMAJA DI LEMBAGA PEMBINAAN KHUSUS ANAK (LPKA) PANGKALPINANG

    Psychological well-being is needed by every individual. Psychological services are needed to achieve prosperity in psychology, one of which is group counseling services. In this case, adolescents who are in the Special Correctional Institution for Child (Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak, LPKA) need to improve psychological well-being which hopes of being able to return to their role and get good acceptance in the community or social environment. This research is experimental research by a pre-experimental design-one group pretest-posttest design. The treatment given in the form of group counseling services and given questionnaires before and after treatment was given. There were 17 subjects in which group counseling services had never been done before at LPKA. Data analysis used the t-test and Gain Score. The results showed the psychological well-being of adolescents significantly no increase given to group counseling services. But, if you see the gain score data, it was found that 7 of 17 subjects experienced an increase before and after being given group counseling services

Ranging from educating the basic things such as a build positive character for children, be an example, gave a true in attitude an behavior as well as teach a smart kids in a sociable and able to develop age-appropriate development. Therefore, mother should be able to divide the time, when at home in serving her husband an children or in the work to become a skilled worker and reliable.     THE ANALYSIS OF STUDENTS’ ERROR

    Abstract: Negative and interrogative forms are the important elements of Englishgrammars that have to be mastered by SMP students. The learners need to havesubtantial capability of English grammar in order that they are able to speak andwrite correctly.Therefore, the objectives of this research are (1) to identify the frequencies ofoccurance of the students’ grammatical errors based on surface strategy taxonomyfound in their sentences, (2) to identify the frequencies of occurance of students’grammatical errors based on developmental category that are found in theirsentences, and (3) to find out which types of errors were mostly made by thestudents. Descriptive method was used in this research, where the data were takenfrom the students to draw conclusions. This research was conducted at SMPNegeri 8 bandar Lampung. The subject of the research was class VIII.H consistingof 34 students. The data gained were further analyzed based on surface strategytaxonomy and developmental category.Having analyzed the data, it is found that the students commited four types oferrors based on surface strategy taxonomy and developmental category, thehighest frequency of error types based on surface strategy taxonomy ismisformation error (63,17%) followed by misordering errors (23,36%), additionerrors (11,34%) and misordering errors (2,27%). While based on thedevelopmental category, the errors are: pre-systematic stage (44,75%), systematicstage (33,14%) and post-systematic stage (22,09%).The result shows that the highest number of errors occured is misformation. ThisIndicates that students have more serious problems in using grammar especiallytenses in present tenses. They might also be influenced by Indonesian grammar.And based on developmental category the most frequent errorr occured is presystematicstage. This might be due to the students’ lack of knowledge aboutgrammar. The errors students produced were possibly caused by some factorssuch as insufficient grammar mastery, lack of knowledge of present tenses andlack of awareness. In line with the result, it is suggested that English teachersshould not ignore the errors made by them. The teachers can give remedialteaching for the students and provide some tasks or exercises which enable themto practice using tenses.Key words : Students errors, present tenses sentences, negative and interrogative

    Rumah Sederhana Sehat means adequate and affordable homes in safe and healthy environment. Its presence must be supported by public infrastructures, facilities, and utilities in sustainable manner. This study aims to ensure that the provision of infra-structures, facilities, and utilities in housing not only creates the housing feasibility, but also livability. Kabupaten Sidoarjo is selected as study sites, because it has not had regulations regarding the provision of infrastructures, facilities, and utilities in the housing yet. This study uses a livable city theoretical approach as the main refe-rence. The study is a qualitative study, with post-positivist approach that used to assess the object of this study not only the empirical facts, but also the social life that occur within it. The method of this study is comparison case studies method. It is used to find the influence of housing and infrastructures, facilities, and utilities physical condition towards resident’s psychological condition. The approach to the livable theory covers all aspects of the housing towards sustainable living. The results of this study are the livability concept of infrastructures, facilities, and utilities provision in adequate housing. Feasibility of infrastructures, facilities, and utilities on housing is not only making better neighborhoods, but also the welfare of the residents

    Analysis of Human Resource Management, Interpersonal Communication and Internal Control on the Effectiveness of Health Services at Rsud Prov South Sumatra

    This study aims to obtain empirical evidence about the analysis of human resource management, interpersonal communication and internal control on the effectiveness of health services at the South Sumatra Prov Hospital. This study used mix method. Research results  Overall the variable of human resource management with an average percentage of 80.43%, which means that the human resource management in the is very good at carrying out its duties. Second, interpersonal communication with an average percentage of 83.34%, which means that communication in the is running very well, be it between employees or direct communication with superiors. Internal control with an average percentage of 84.42%, which means that everything is going well and is in accordance with existing SOPs. Then, the effectiveness of health services obtained an average percentage of 85.88%, which means that the services provided have been carried out as optimally the South Sumatra Prov Hospital

    Adaptasi adalah suatu mekanisme yang dilakukan makhluk hidup untuk menghadapi dan mengatasi tekanan yang ada dilingkungannya sehingga ia dapat bertahan hidup. penyesuaian diri ditinjau dari sudut pandang, yaitu penyesuaian diri sebagai adaptasi (adaptation). Penyesuaian diri sebagai adaptasi artinya adalah individu dapat mengadakan relasi yang memuaskan sesuai dengan tuntutan sosial, mempertahankan eksistensinya, dan dapat memperoleh kesejahteraan jasmani dan rohani. Melakukan penyesuain diri dilingkungan baru sangat perlu untuk dilakukan. Jika tingkat penyesuaian diri pada seseorang kurang, maka akan berdampak negatif terhadap dirinya sendiri dan orang lain. Lingkungan baru yang sering kita temui, salah satunya dilingkungan perguruan tinggi. Dengan menemukan sesuatu hal-hal yang baru dilingkungan perguruan tinggi, mahasiswa butuh kesiapan secara psikologis maupun sosial. Penyesuaian diri dilakukan sebagai proses menjalani kehidupan dilingkungan kampus,  baik itu komunikasi, adaptasi, menerima perbedaan, memahami keadaan diri maupun orang lain, serta berinteraksi. Rendahnya tingkat penyesuaian diri pada mahasiswa saat memasuki lingkungan perkuliahan yang baru (semester awal) akan mempengaruhi proses belajar dan juga terhambatnya komunikasi. Untuk mengurangi atau mengatasi hambatan tersebut harus ada penanganan khusus, sehingga penyesuaian diri yang rendah pada mahasiswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui layanan bimbingan kelompok. Maka penulis mencoba menerapakan sebuah alternatif untuk meningkatkan penyesuaian diri pada mahasiswa melalui layanan bimbingan kelompok
